Proactive Safety Electrical Upgrades

If you're looking to improve safety at your home or business's electrical system, we can help.  Upgrading circuits with Arc Fault and Ground Fault protection and Surge Protection at the Electrical panel are preventive steps to protect the business and home and conform to the  current Electical Code.

Electrical Panel Upgrade Or Adding a Sub-Panel - Preventative Safety Actions

First Step for Safety -

Bringing your business or home up to code is a preventative safety measure.  Installing Arc Fault and Ground Fault breakers and Surge Protection ensures conformity to the current electrical code and  is a safe and proactive step to protect your business and home.

Electrical Panel Change

Installing a New Panel is advised, possibly required if the system is failing. or a proactive step if the panel is very old.

Main Panel Shutoff and Outside Disconnect

Today's code requires a  main shut off at your panel and outside on the side of the house in case the Fire Dept. is trying to gain entry.  The Fire Dept. can still enter without either of these but new homes and business require these protective measures.  These items are grandfathered in meaning at one time they conformed to a previous electrical code of safety .

Sub- Panel - Installing a Sub-Panel increases breaker space in your system, for example to introduce a heat pump or car charger.  I also allow Arc Fault and Ground Fault protection at the panel for example if the existing panel has to many space saving tandem/mini/peanut/piggyback  breaker is installed.
